Production Blog: Planning Putting Together My Video

 For my blog I am planning to put together my video with one of my friends. It only requires one other individual. I am going to use the song Dark red. After I consulted with a few people I decided to do it with one of my friends Eva. She agreed to do it and now we just needed to find where we were going to film it. I just needed to find all the locations  I had on my storyboard. Thank God I have a pool and gym in my apartment so I could get them both. However for the mall and beach we would have to those locations to film. We are most likely just going to galleria mall and Fort Lauderdale Beach after. We can just film the bed room shots in my room. I want to make the videos on my phone and then edit them on Capcuts. I want to use some new techniques I have learned from the last project on this one. I would like to use new transitions and new editing skills. Continued filming my scenes

 For one of my last segments I began filming at the beach. It wasn't as sunny and still as I imagined but it still turned out well. I wanted to capture the beauty and the serenity of the beach. As well as capture the happiness and bliss. The beach was a perfect place to display this. I began filming of us on the beach just tanning. I wanted to get a few scenes on the water so I filmed some of those as well. I also filmed a few of us just walking along the water and in the sand. I made sure to get a few close-up shots in the water. A majority of my shots were long shots. Some were two- shots and some just one. I took videos of the scenery on the beach and some of the the people enjoying the beach. I wanted to add the sound of the ocean at the end of the video. I was thinking to add in a few more details when editing. Like maybe adding in a few slow motion clips towards the slower parts of the song.

My Relfection

  For this project I have gone through a process to create a project worth of an A. I first stared by selecting my song which is language by Brent Faiyaz. This song is something I have listened to for a long time and have always felt a connection to. After I picked my song I started to pick my photos and images. I picked a plethora of photos from vacations and times I have gone out to eat. Some of the videos are in body's of water. A large amount at the beach or in a boat/lake. After I selected my photos and videos I began to start my video. I opened Capcut and selected all my videos and pictures.   This project was very beneficial because I learned how to use Capcuts to make videos. It also showed me how to express myself and my personality through photos. This project also showed me how to use different features.
