AICE media studies

 For one of my last segments I began filming at the beach. It wasn't as sunny and still as I imagined but it still turned out well. I wanted to capture the beauty and the serenity of the beach. As well as capture the happiness and bliss. The beach was a perfect place to display this. I began filming of us on the beach just tanning. I wanted to get a few scenes on the water so I filmed some of those as well. I also filmed a few of us just walking along the water and in the sand. I made sure to get a few close-up shots in the water. A majority of my shots were long shots. Some were two- shots and some just one. I took videos of the scenery on the beach and some of the the people enjoying the beach. I wanted to add the sound of the ocean at the end of the video. I was thinking to add in a few more details when editing. Like maybe adding in a few slow motion clips towards the slower parts of the song. 

 For my second scene I decided to film at the mall. I did this to capture the glamour of over coming the hardship. Which is why they will look like we are on a luxury shopping ship. The background was perfect and the amount of people was alright. Their was a range of things going in the background. We will be holding many bags and will appear as if spending lots of money. With my camera we went into the mall into an area with better lighting and began filming. I took a few scenes in different places to see where it appeared best. After filming in the food court and few other places I decided to choose later where I will be choosing my clip to be from. I decided I might also want to add in us trying on different clothes in the stores. It appeared well on camera and I might add it into the video. I wanted to capture similar angles and lighting from my past takes. I also wanted them to display different color schemes. Also have the same transitions to not appear to different. The malls di

 I recently staring my filming. I also began planning my angles and shots for the rest of my scenes. I began filming my scene a the pool which will introduce he video. So far some of the challenges I have faced is relating the angles to the power struggle. I am learning when to do certain angles and from what distance to relate to the scene. Last minute we decided to change our song to God is a woman by Ariana Grande. When we changed the song it really set back my editing and planning. Before we began filming I began to rethink my planning and how we were going to film. I started to rethink my planning and how I was going to start playing the song. After I planned everything I began filming my pool scene. It was hard filming a pool scene because of how hot it was outside and how we need to keep it school appropriate. However we made it work and kept it appropriate and kept the aesthetic of my story board. I really liked the theme in my story board and wanted to keep the scenes similar.

   Today I decided what props I was going to use in my video. I decided that I needed a beach ball which was in my storyboard for my pool scene. I also needed shopping bags for the mall scene and towels and an umbrella for the beach scene. Thankfully I already own beach balls and towels for the beach and pool scene. For the mall scene I am planning to buy little things to have many bags. Since it is for a project then the purchases are justified! For the unbrellas I can just borrow them from someone else or not use them all together. I am planning to go to Fort Lauderdale Beach and film my beach scene there. I would like to make my mall scene at the Galleria mall. I am going to make both scenes on the same day since they are together and can be edited together throughout time. At the mall I was planning to add some dance scenes and some differences to make it appear more unique. I am planning to make a majority of the scenes eye level or below eye level just because of the type of imag

 For my blog I am planning to put together my video with one of my friends. It only requires one other individual. I am going to use the song Dark red. After I consulted with a few people I decided to do it with one of my friends Eva. She agreed to do it and now we just needed to find where we were going to film it. I just needed to find all the locations  I had on my storyboard. Thank God I have a pool and gym in my apartment so I could get them both. However for the mall and beach we would have to those locations to film. We are most likely just going to galleria mall and Fort Lauderdale Beach after. We can just film the bed room shots in my room. I want to make the videos on my phone and then edit them on Capcuts. I want to use some new techniques I have learned from the last project on this one. I would like to use new transitions and new editing skills. I would like to have one other person filming but if not we can film our selfs. As I said before I don't need more than one p

 For my song genre I would like to pick a love song. Many love songs are normally done on the beach of just filming two people engaging in romantic activities. They also like to tell a story which I intend to do with my music video. I intend to make my video very similar to other love song videos. However some of the songs I picked where love songs that show the ups and downs in being in a relationship. If I pick this type of song then I am planning to start it like that and end with them in love. Some of my songs that I am considering is about the toxicity of love. However I still plan to make it like a love song music video. I might however make it about someone who is in love but alone which will capture the sadness of one of the songs I am considering. It will also have a theme. I intend to create my video similar to other variations of love song videos. With this information I have begun to plan the theme and setting of my video.    For my project I have chosen to do it by myself. A majority of the things that I would like to do for this project I would like to film by myself and with people that are not in this class. For this project I plan to work with some people that do and do not go to this school. I will be doing all of the editing and arrangements on my own. I enjoy doing these things by myself. Especially because of the story I would like the story to tell. I plan the video to go along with the song that I pick. I would also like it to be unique and resemble the song. It would be mazing if I would convince people to do this with me because of how I would like the video to look natural and have people in the back. I would like it to show the emotions featured in the song. My objective is to pick a love song and film ether at the beach or at a pool. I would like to do this because it fits the idea of a music video. It is also because love songs have a certain narrative that would make a good music video.

I have a wide range of interests both inside and outside of school. I enjoy sewing and repurposing old, boring clothes to make new ones. I participate in a variety of sports, including swimming, track, and water polo. I devote at least five days a week to these activities, each lasting two hours. Spending time with my friends is a weekly ritual for me. There are many health advantages to spending time at the beach and swimming in the ocean, which is another way I like to unwind and spend time with my friends and family. I surround myself with upbeat and humorous people because I firmly believe that you are who you surround yourself with. I regularly work out at the gym for my health and wellbeing. I recently overcame my fear of attempting new foods and recipes. I've recently started learning how to crochet, and I love creating new things. I have a keen interest in fashion and adore seeing runway shows for well-known labels like Chanel, Versace, and Schiaparelli. I occasionally mo

  For this project I have gone through a process to create a project worth of an A. I first stared by selecting my song which is language by Brent Faiyaz. This song is something I have listened to for a long time and have always felt a connection to. After I picked my song I started to pick my photos and images. I picked a plethora of photos from vacations and times I have gone out to eat. Some of the videos are in body's of water. A large amount at the beach or in a boat/lake. After I selected my photos and videos I began to start my video. I opened Capcut and selected all my videos and pictures.   This project was very beneficial because I learned how to use Capcuts to make videos. It also showed me how to express myself and my personality through photos. This project also showed me how to use different features. It showed me how to edit and change certain aspects of videos.    To make my next project better I believe I could manage my time better and add more details. I would li
