Introduction Blog


 I am exhilarated to start my final task and begin my short film project and show my passion for media. This project is going to allow me to show my full potential for this course and show all that I have learned throughout this year. I am eager to conduct more research on how to even further improve what I have gathered on film making and analyzing other films. I am all about expressing creativity and showing who you are which I feel can be gravely shown through videos and images. This course has shown to me just how much cinema has a whole other meaning and can represent any type of struggle. I am truly excited to think outside the box and show Cambridge who I really am and how much I wish to showcase what their wonderful curriculum has taught me. I look forward to collaborate and compare what I have created with other class mates to learn new techniques. This project is going to allow me to explore and research in areas that I have not done before and I am truly excited to discover the professional side of film making. I myself find passion in collaborating with others and creating project that reflect who I am as a person. Just as my peers I plan on creating a humoresque video with a plot that is incomparable to an amateur film. I am curious to learn about the rules and criteria for the filming and extra parts of the assignment that I need to learn about. I would like to see what type of opportunity and doors this could possibly open for me in the future. I have really enjoyed the previous projects and assignments we have completed and I am very exited to complete this much bigger and more advanced version. Clearly, I am very thrilled to begin my final task.

Production Blog: Starting My Filming

 I recently staring my filming. I also began planning my angles and shots for the rest of my scenes. I began filming my scene a the pool which will introduce he video. So far some of the challenges I have faced is relating the angles to the power struggle. I am learning when to do certain angles and from what distance to relate to the scene. Last minute we decided to change our song to God is a woman by Ariana Grande. When we changed the song it really set back my editing and planning. Before we began filming I began to rethink my planning and how we were going to film. I started to rethink my planning and how I was going to start playing the song. Production Blog: Planning Putting Together My Video

 For my blog I am planning to put together my video with one of my friends. It only requires one other individual. I am going to use the song Dark red. After I consulted with a few people I decided to do it with one of my friends Eva. She agreed to do it and now we just needed to find where we were going to film it. I just needed to find all the locations  I had on my storyboard. Thank God I have a pool and gym in my apartment so I could get them both. However for the mall and beach we would have to those locations to film. We are most likely just going to galleria mall and Fort Lauderdale Beach after. We can just film the bed room shots in my room. I want to make the videos on my phone and then edit them on Capcuts. I want to use some new techniques I have learned from the last project on this one. I would like to use new transitions and new editing skills.
